Always confused about which one is the best menstrual solution for me? One day I just discovered something that really matters for us all as a woman. I believe that tampon is better than a menstrual pad. No matter what circumstances menstrual pad make us lazy to exchange every time when have to go to pee.
“Oh! it’s not yet full. My pad is not full yet, change later to save money buying it!”
If you are someone who have this thought, I am very doubtful with you vagina health. Menstruation is part of releasing every toxic from your last sexual encounter, even to the toxic inside your vagina. It is the most healthy activity that vagina perform.
But, none of us happy when we get that and perhaps few of us even know about this, unless we have study about it while we reach puberty in the school.
Choosing a menstrual pad or tampon is a matter of choice. If you comfortable of using a menstrual pad, you may continue to do so but remember to often change it to another pad every time you go to the toilet or every 20 minutes to 1 hour.
For me, I personally like Kotex after seeing a mother influencer explaining the reason she choose Kotex and after I find out myself. I feel that Kotex has better pad quality than any other pad that I ever try such as Laurier. It doesn’t cause itchiness or allergic around the vagina and it doesn’t cause any fungus around. You gotta choose the pad that has no smell at all. There are lots of brands that sell pad with scented, while it is not recommended to use the pad with scented by my OBGYN. So, I personally choose with unscented pad.
I also choose tampon because it is healthier for vagina since it capture the menstural blood right away and it doesn’t moves around my pant that could cause blood around the pants, just because we don’t put it right. It is also adviseable to use pantyliner in your pants when you use tampon.
I am still sticking with Kotek because the pantyliner is thick and comfortable. This is to prevent if the period coming overboard.
ODOURLY SMELL or FUNGUS
As my knowledge, this could be because the food you eat or the underwear. Wearing jeans, short, corset or even not-breathable underwear that made from spandex or anything that is too tight and eating too many foods contain soybean or particular spice, even junk food could cause fungus and odour smell. Drinking coffee, soda and any type of sweet could cause unhealthy vagina and bleeder. Therefore it is advisable to go to OBGYN for any problem around your woman areas.
