Hi guys, wish you are ready for your weekend plan. I hope you enjoy the first section of SKINCARE CHALLENGE – 12 LAYERS, which I actually hope that you may learn something useful, especially for you who have a similar problem and skin condition like me. Dry, sensitive, and acne prone skin with dehydration problem.
The sensitiveness of my skin, sometimes makes me a little bit panic, since it is really problematic. It is not so normal for me to have chili sauce turning my skin into extreme redd with some kind of chickenpox skin reaction that only calm down after I use Chinese oil medicine with lots of cream, it took about 3 days to heal it back to normal.
Not only that, when I go travel with 2-hour plane flight, my skin become very dehydrated, resulting in skin breakout. It complicates things because, I have to rush over my schedule, which involves me meeting people’s with my big pimples skin, that’s extremely gross for some people.
“The second section, I will explain about the result that I have seen over the past week and how I develop the solution for my skin, and yes, it is really working, without any problem AT ALL”
My overall experience in section 1:
I already feel that 15 layers of skincare do change my experience and wrong understanding of skincare that I believe in my life. This journey gives more than enough benefit to my skin. Right now, my skin has fewer pimples, no dry and dehydrated skin, but smooth and glowing skin. My under eyes lines starting to fade. I have lines around my under eyes, that will be visible when I use foundation, it does making it looks like I have wrinkles around eyes area and applying under eye brightening corrector, doesn’t help!
The 12 layers also help my post acne scar problem. My post acne scar is red in color and extremely scary to see for some people. Previously, what I do for my post red acne scar is by applying whitening cream, dot it in the scar areas. It does help lessen but when I sleep, the next morning my pillow full of white cream and I have to wash. It doesn’t make the skincare treatment a lot easier.
Another change that I spot is my pores are smaller around my nose and left-right cheek area. Less white bumps in the nose. I maintain it with sheet mask and hydrating mask almost every day. Using the eye gel patch from KOELF does effectively taking a good care for my underlines problem. After section 2, I realize that I really enjoy doing skincare treatment.
HOW TO READ THE TABLE?
All the skincare is listed on ‘product’ row on the left side of the table. The sequence is based on the number that I have put in the row. For example: if I list – timeless C serum number as 1 and Sephora Hydrating and Quenching mask as 22. I will write based on the sequence of I using it as
1
22
On the table next to it, which is the day table. This means, after I use Timeless C serum, I apply Sephora Hydrating and Quenching Mask. As you can see, I write am and pm, because I add more skincare at night.

SKIN DIARY
Day 8 – Today is the second section. I wake up and see that left side is starting to heal by seeing the redness is almost invisible and return back to normal skin. While big pimples and small acne in right side started getting smaller. I think this is gonna take a little bit longer than usual. a small pimple is bursting the white head out. No change for big acne, it still looks like swollen but smaller in size. I spotted new big pimples around jaw areas, that is not red yet it’s hurt when I touch it. Probably due to the hormone during period time.
Day 9 – Wake up with plump and smooth skin. I feel that my skin finally supplying lots of moist and collagen, this change makes me so happy. Pimples starting to lessen and post acne scar starting to fade.
Day 10 – I use Kose Sekissei Clear Whitening mask that I bought from Cosmo de Com for US$24.00, to wipe out all the white bumps and use The Ordinary Toning Solution 7% Glycolic Acid.
Day 11 – I wake up to see that my pimples are getting smaller and almost fade from my skin. These pimples took my whole month to really heals. I wear makeup today and testing out a high coverage foundation. The foundation is high coverage with dewwy finishing. It doesn’t do any pilling since I wait for about 45 minutes to let the skincare absorb before applying makeup. This also makes me have to wake up early the next morning. To be honest, right now I don’t like to use high coverage foundation because it will clog my pores and absorb my skin moist, I also need to exfoliate, if I use high coverage foundation.
Same goes for your skin. It is a foundation, it doesn’t take care of your skin but hiding your skin problem for temporary. You don’t have to use makeup when you are not going out, let your skin breath. if you look up the ingredients one by one, it doesn’t contain anything except for long hours sustainability, coverage, and more alcohol ingredient, to let the foundation dry quickly.
Day 12 – I wake up with dehydration feelings, I guess probably due to high coverage foundation that I use yesterday. The foundation leaves white bumps behind. I knew it, but it does make my skin looks smooth and perfect. The post acne scar on the left side 98% healing, while the right side is fully healing.
Day 13 – Today is interview days, but I use only tinted moisturizer from Bobbi Brown with setting powder, kinda like what my skin look right now. No need to use foundation. since I purchased PIXI Rose Oils and Hada Labo, therefore I do test for both products. Let’s see if it’s giving my dry skin benefit or the opposite.
Day 14 – Wake up with great skin feel. The moist is back. Hada Labo cleansing oil and PIXI Rose oil is perfect, review coming soon. Going to Universal Studio with only setting powder and it does last till night, I wear it almost 11 hours long.

WHAT HAPPENED ON 2ND SECTION?
I no longer use high coverage foundation, cc cream, tinted cream or anything for base makeup but primer and setting powder, only. It last long. This proof that:
