Finally, Apple releases their newest update 13.5, I have been waiting since they publicly announced that it will help the user to unlock their iPhone using Face ID quickly. this features update release to help COVID-19 situation where we all have to use a facemask and need to wait for a couple of minute for our iPhone to finally pop the pin windows after it failed to detect our face with a mask on.
While we are agitated waiting for the pin windows to pop, there are queue of people who is waiting for us behind when we wait at the cashier. Therefore Apple feels that there is a need to do this update.
I personally feel impatience to wait for the pin windows to pop, and taking off my mask is not the option I can choose in this situation, since we all have to follow the rules of COVID-19 where putting a mask is a MUST or else we will be fines.
The second feature is ‘contact tracing apps’ in Singapore this feature is useful so does in another part of the country where they have developed the apps for COVID-19 trace. While back in Indonesia, the government has not yet released any app for contact tracing. So the update is useless in this country.
It is significant and may be helpful if country who have large population develop the contact tracing apps so they can tackle the root of COVID-19 however, it does seems like the world countries has suffered from panic due to this virus and few has taken smart step immediately when the virus attack so furiously.
Even on iPad, the IOS 13.5 has also released yet there is no contact trace available. The significant different of the update as below:
