Dupes or Tear: Maybelline Chrome highlighter VS Estee Lauder Heatwave

Dupes or Tear: Maybelline Chrome highlighter VS Estee Lauder Heatwave
The form you are trying to view has been unpublished.

Hi pretty, today article will be about Maybelline Chrome Highlighter that often rumoured to be dupes for Estee Lauder Heatwave limited edition highlighter.

The highlighter indeed are 98% similar to Heatwave. However, the finishing and shade have small different, if you keep it close look side by side.

So today, I will be doing it for you. I have already taking pictures for your comparison.

Maybelline Chrome Highlighter VS Estee Lauder Heatwave

Firstly I will give you Chrome highlighter picture since this article is about Chrome review.

As you can see that the shade is a bit orange and deep. The finishing is metallic and not really that smooth.

Above picture is side by side comparison. As you can see that they are a bit similarity of it. However, Estée Lauder finishing is illuminating while Chrome are really metallic with glitter finishing. The color/shade is deeper than Heatwave, which is more orange while Heatwave are really gold.

I personally like Maybelline Chrome highlighter because it’s the best drugstore highlighter with achievement almost high-end. Chrome highlighter are wet. If you have colourpop supershock eyeshadow, the feel when you touch the eyeshadow is the same when you touch Chrome.

The other things that you may need to know is the packaging. While heatwave have lightweight stainless packaging that covered with a really high quality paint with mirror inside that will really protect the highlighter into scattered. Chrome packaging are plastic and it’s indeed will not 100% protect the highlighter.

The price could be consideration. You can get Chrome for only $20.00 while Heatwave will makes you spend 3 times amount of it.

Which one will you pick? Drugstore or high-end? Spill you tea!
