Cover FX perfect setting powder do not use TALC but MICA, and on last review I told you that there is no indication that both of ingredient will be better or worse than the other. It just most of powdery makeup will based either talc or mica and to lessen the potential hazardous things to happen, makeup brands prefer to use talc.

The case about TALC – Johnson and Johnson case of the talc in baby powder, since then talc has been consider as less safe ingredients. Both are mineral ingredients. MICA are made from the aluminium and Talc is made from magnesium, oxygen and silicon. For me, every makeup use bad ingredients, there is no ingredients that is good or better than the others. That’s why you g=have to use skincare. Using makeup too much and too often could ‘eat up’ your skin glow and in this case, skincare could act as medicine or prevention for that to happened. To be honest, I don’t like COVER FX setting powder, all of them except perfect setting powder, which I think it just alright, nothing so special about it.

I feel so confused with the cover from this picture at first, as you can see there is a transparent cover . I normally use the cover lid, semi close it and I release the powder by flipping it backward, but there is a second cover for this powder, which I just flip the powder backward and open the the cover.

Rating: 3 out of 5

It’s hard for me to decided whether I have to recommend to you or not, till I think if I ever want this product in my makeup wardrobe. I guess not. If you are reading my blog, I guess I won’t recommend this product to you. It’s really nothing special about this product and I think that drug store setting powder could give more applicable quality for your makeup look with cheaper price.

Will I recommend the product? No.

Will I repurchased the product? No.
