Product Update

date: 1 September 2018

I just find out that Clinique decided to stop this product and changes into another product with similar ingredients. I have still no ideas the reason why they wanted to change but my assumption is the brand want to stay relevant in beauty community ever since there are lots of indie brands that overflowing and catching up to high-end brands.

It’s common for Clinique to every now and then doing this type of marketing things, remember Bronze Goddess heat wave highlighter, after became limited edition, Clinique decided to sell the highlighter in different packaging and pattern printing. Of course, people who are brand crave will buy so but nowadays, people tend to stick to their gut and without being invincible just eating up all the marketing strategy that brands are doing. Another product replacement is Clinique Moisture Surge to Clinique 72 hour auto replenishing hydrator, I haven’t yet use the product but planning too since I love moisture surge but they no longer available therefore I was planning to just give 72 hour hydrator a tryout.

Imo, Clinique really need to get into a meeting with all the department and implement new strategy or else, they will lose up to the game. People can spot it easily. I and my team decided to email Clinique and asked them, the reason they want to reinvent the product. Let’s see how they gonna say about it and will update on this article, Should you wanna know the reason, feel free to subscribe to the newsletter.

This is the product that replaces the even better essence
