USE IT or LOOSE IT: DECIEM/The Abnormal Beauty Company – The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA reviews

Taking on the internet and global world by how they set their pricing for THE ORDINARY products, while giving statement that vitamin A in retinol is inferior to those of Vitamin A, yet still selling retinol a products on their website. This Canadian brand of skincare have taken all the attention on beauty world by providing
really attractive name called DECIEM and The Ordinary is one of several brands that are part of a larger company whose tag line is “The Abnormal Beauty Company,” that is not ordinary at all.

According to company founder Brandon Truaxe, “DECIEM exists to create beauty brands with one mission common amongst them: to marry function, design and authenticity.”

Much more to say about the product is about becoming “The Abnormal Beauty Company” by regularly telling people in general about the negativity of AHA and BHA yet they sell it out sell AHA and BHA products, also they pointed out that they dislike the use of silicones in skincare yet they using it on their product. I happened to have no ideas about how their marketing strategy is but maybe this all is about their strategy to gain public attention and yes, they manage to get the popularity.

Review from Beautypedia stated

“Low prices are great, but not when the trade-off is getting less than your skin deserves.”

Overall experience: very satisfy Perfect service 5 out of 5. Love the flexibility of the purchasing.

The only things that concerned:

  • No coupon discount/no promotion/ other related things to reducing the price for new customer, unlike CULT BEAUTY that give you coupon discount 5% (because I am such a cheapskate person.
  • Not all The Ordinary products is available.

HOWEVER, The Ordinary on Beautylish is much cheaper than that on DECIEM online website and have to pay for the shipping fees, unless you buy above 200.00. BUT, If you buy in Victoria Health is much cheaper than Beautylish price – yet still don’t know if the shipping fees is free
